Oracle用户可以将许可迁移到亚马逊云计算服务

运行Oracle数据库的公司将很快能够使用Amazon网络服务的主机运行Oracle 11g数据库的服务。用户可以转移其现有的Oracle许可证到Amazon。Amazon表示，oracle将在2011年第二季度支持亚马逊关系数据库服务（Amazon RDS）。

Amazon RDS是一个Web服务，他允许用户在云中设置，操作和调整关系数据库。Amazon表示， Amazon RDS  for oracle将包含的灵活的定价方案。 “如果你有现有的Oracle数据库许可，您将能够在Amazon  RDS上运行Oracle数据库，没有额外的软件许可费或支持费用。如果你没有许可，你可以采取每小时计费而不需要前期费用或长期承诺。“ 因为我们的系统可以为每个页面计费。

Businesses running Oracle will soon be able to use Amazon Web services to host the Database 11g server. Users will be able to transfer their existing Oracle licences or pay on-demand.
Amazon said Oracle will me made available via the Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) during the second quarter of 2011.
Amazon RDS is a web service which allows users to set up, operate, and scale a relational database in the cloud. Amazon said Amazon RDS for Oracle would include flexible pricing options. "If you have existing Oracle Database licences, you will be able to apply them to run Oracle Databases on Amazon RDS with no additional software licensing or support charges. If you don't, you'll be able to take advantage of on-demand hourly licensing with no up-front fees or long-term commitments."
Amazon also offers MySQL in the cloud. Telegraph Media Group is one of the organisations using this service.
